For external use on dogs, farm animals & humans only, we do not recommend using essential oils on or around cats, pocket pets/exotics. Do not use on puncture wounds. Puncture wounds require slow healing from the inside/bottom of the wound, up. This salve will heal the skin/wound too quickly, possibly causing a pocket of infection (abscess) below the outer/upper layer of skin.
